The next meeting of the company secretaries network will take place on Thursday 16 May between 11:00 – 15:30.
The meeting will include:
- A session on NHSE’s management and leadership development programme where Carolyn May, director of talent, NHSE and Celia Weldon, kark implementation adviser, NHSE will talk about the context for this work, and discuss their future plans.
- A strategic policy and governance update from NHS Providers providing an up-to-date overview of the current policy landscape including an opportunity for Q&A and discussion.
- NHSE will lead a session describing proposed changes to the NHS oversight framework. They will also share feedback they have already heard during extensive engagement with providers and ICBs.
- An opportunity to hear from Claire Lea, Director, Charis Consultants Ltd who will draw on her years of experience advising FTs and corporate governance professionals. Claire will be sharing various principles to help you manage and deal effectively with council members, whilst providing you the opportunity to share any of your own experiences and concerns.
