The role of trusts in addressing health inequalities

Health inequalities are the unfair and preventable differences in health outcomes between different population groups, such as those living in the most deprived areas and ethnic minority groups. Healthcare inequalities can be avoided by improving access to and experiences of services for all patients. NHS trusts play a crucial role in contributing this agenda by providing inclusive services.
