Upcoming events

The Race Equality programme aims to supports boards to effectively identify and challenge structural race inequality as a core part of the board’s business. These events are free to attend however please book your place in advance.

Webinars

Webinars are between 60-90 minutes. These events allow delegates to hear from expert speakers on the event topic, where they share theory, interventions and case studies. This is followed by a facilitated Q&A.

Peer learning events

Peer learning events are between 75-90 minutes. These forums allow delegates to have in-depth, facilitated breakout discussions on the forum topic and network with colleagues working on race equality.

Tuesday 4 February 2025 | Sexual safety in the workplace

Overview:

This virtual peer learning event will take place on Tuesday, 4 February 2025 via Zoom from 10:30am -12noon.

Content:

This interactive online event will:

  • Facilitate an opportunity for trust leaders to improve their awareness and understanding of changes to the legal duties on employers in relation to preventing sexual harassment towards their employees.
  • Provide an opportunity for peer learning and sharing of approaches being taken by other NHS organisations.
  • Provide a safe space for conversations identifying current barriers and challenges within facilitated breakouts.

This event is open to all NHS Providers members and is specifically aimed at board members, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion leads and those leading workstreams on sexual safety from trusts and foundation trusts.
