The Health Inequalities programme aims to supports boards to make sense of health inequalities and embed it as a core part of the board’s business. These events are free to attend however please book your place in advance.

Webinars

Webinars are between 60-90 minutes. These events allow delegates to hear from expert speakers on the event topic, where they share theory, interventions and case studies. This is followed by a facilitated Q&A.

Peer learning events

Peer learning events are between 75-90 minutes. These events allow delegates to have in-depth, facilitated breakout discussions and network with colleagues working on health inequalities.

Is NHS England's EDI improvement plan an effective lever for trusts working as anchor institutions? | Friday 10 May 2024

This virtual peer learning event will take place on Friday 10 May 2024 on Zoom from 11.00am to 12.30pm.

 

This peer learning event is one of a series of events taking place within our Health Inequalities programme.

 

This interactive online event will explore:

  • High impact action four (HIA4) of NHS England’s equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) improvement plan: develop and implement an improvement plan to address health inequalities within the workforce
  • NHS trusts’ role as anchor institutions in tackling health inequalities faced by staff
  • Key challenges and practical solutions for trusts to meet the success metrics outlined in HIA4.

 

This event is open to all NHS Providers members, specifically board members from Trusts, Foundation Trusts and Integrated Care Boards.
