The next meeting of the HR directors network will take place in-person at the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, 10-18 Union Street, London, SE1 1SZ on Tuesday 30 July between 10:00 - 15:30.
The agenda for this event is being developed, however we already have some engaging sessions planned, including:
- A strategic policy update from Saffron Cordery, deputy chief executive at NHS Providers covering strategic policy issues and developments and sharing analysis on what these may mean for the provider sector, followed by an opportunity for Q&A.
- A presentation on workforce specific issues and developments led by Sarah White, senior policy manager (workforce) and Olli Potter, senior policy officer (workforce) at NHS Providers. There will be a particular focus on current industrial disputes in the NHS, and the session will be followed by an opportunity for Q&A.
Further sessions and the full agenda will be shared in due course.
The meeting will be chaired by:
- Neil Savage, director of HR & OD, Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Who is it for?
Anyone with strategic oversight for the workforce agenda of their trusts, for example: director of human resources/operational development/workforce/engagement and wellbeing/personnel, senior HR manager or business partner. Interim/acting/assistant/deputy directors are also welcome to attend.
