The next meeting of the Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officers network will take place Tuesday 21 May between 10:00am-15:30pm at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, 10 Union Street, London, SE1 1SZ.
The meeting will include:
- A policy update session featuring a presentation from NHS Providers on strategic policy issues and developments. Following a Q&A and discussion, where there will be an opportunity for participants to raise questions and present challenges to peers in a safe space
- A development workshop focussed on supporting operational leaders, lead by Emma Challans-Rasool, founder and chair of the Proud2bOps network.
- A discussion focused on embedding inclusive leadership practice and resilience, this session will explore what innovative practice in this area looks like from Tracie Jolliff, head of inclusive system development, NHS England.
- A chance to engage in group discussions, to reflect on key issues with peers, and exchange ideas.
The meeting will be chaired by:
- Ade Odunlade, Chief Operating Officer, South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust
Who is it for?
Anyone with responsibility for corporate operations of the trust, for example: director of operations/performance/strategic development/transformation/service delivery, deputy chief executive and chief operating officer.
Interim/acting/assistant/deputy directors are also welcome to attend.
