Not been to a virtual event before? Here’s what to expect…

Our Annual conference and exhibition returns on 6, 7 and 8 October but this year we're taking it online and streaming it direct to your browser.

There is no doubt that the past few months have seen the biggest challenges for our sector in a generation.

And given the continuing impact of Covid-19, there are many concerns about the months ahead.

We wanted to provide our members and the wider health and social care sectror with the opportunity to reflect on recent events, talk about the lessons to be learned and celebrate our achievements as we look to the next set of priorities for the difficult months ahead.

That’s why we are still holding our Annual Conference and Exhibition this October.

Annual conference and exhibition is changing…

Our flagship event is back but now it’s going virtual.

We felt it was vital for you to be able to have the opportunity to discuss, debate and network with one another, with national policy makers, and other thought leaders - and to do so safely. So this year we’ll be hosting our annual conference and exhibition online.

It will take place over three days rather than two, on 6, 7 and 8 October - giving you more opportunity to take part.

We’ll still deliver strong and compelling sessions focusing on relevant, strategic content. What’s more, the online programme means you can dip in and out of sessions as we stream it directly to you.

Not been to a virtual event before? Here’s what to expect…

  1. Get the very latest insight, analysis and information with sessions you can dip in and out of - so it’s flexible around your work commitments
  2. Connect with everyone easily and step back from sessions with regular virtual coffee breaks
  3. Share your ideas, discuss challenges and unpick key topics with speakers and colleagues on the discussion boards
  4. Access expert case studies and analysis on demand
  5. Talk to leading suppliers on their stands in the virtual expo
  6. Access all the sessions and content on demand for one month after the event.

Use the time you would be travelling to report back to colleagues on the key lessons from the three days.

We’ll give you the insights you need

There has never been a greater need to explore the role we will all have to play in getting the next phase right. How do we embed resilience into our organisations, harness technology for good and address the current health crisis, while also providing the necessary support we need to give to our staff and patients?

Our annual conference will keep you up to date with the latest thinking to help you respond to the environment you’re working in.

This year's theme is 'reflect and recover', exploring the challenges we all face in confronting the coronavirus pandemic and the impact it's had on the health and care sector. We'll consider how we can improve patient and staff experience as we learn to live with a new normal.

We will give you the time and headspace to stand back and consider the bigger picture of what we all want to achieve.

It also allows you to hear what other NHS trusts are doing - to network and connect with colleagues and sector leaders. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from and feedback to national policy makers and influencers.

The best response to these challenging and changing times is to join in the discussions at our virtual Annual Conference and Exhibition 2020, to help shape the future of our sector together.

Bookings are now open for our annual conference and exhibition 2020.
