NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I) has released its proposals for developing the 2021/22 payment system, as part of its engagement process on the national tariff and contracting policies. This document highlights potential proposals that NHSE/I will set out in the statutory consultation on the next national tariff payment system (NTPS), including adopting blended payment approaches across most of secondary care. The deadline for feedback is 10 December 2020.
