Sir Robert Francis - Focus on patient safety will be an asset as chair of Healthwatch England

- Sir Robert Francis QC has been appointed the new chair of Healthwatch England.
- He will formally take up the post from Monday 1 October 2018, replacing Jane Mordue who has been chair since December 2015.
- We welcome Sir Robert’s appointment and believe he will continue to ensure that the voices of health and care patients are heard in his new role.
Responding to the appointment of Sir Robert Francis QC as the new chair of Healthwatch England, the chair of NHS Providers, Dame Gill Morgan said:
