NHS Providers view: seven-day services

Introducing a 'seven-day health service' is a major priority for the government, and was a key element of the Conservative Party's manifesto ahead of the 2015 general election.

To make this ambition a reality, the NHS will need to overcome a number of barriers, as well as reform, update and modernise the three main NHS staff contracts.
