NHS Providers has contributed to two recent reviews into how integrated care systems (ICSs) are developing, and how they can best be supported to improve care for patients. With all trusts now legally required to cooperate with system partners to deliver shared plans as part of at least one ICS, how ICSs develop matters to your trust and its patients. This briefing summarises the findings of the reviews and our perspective on them.
