The next meeting of our Chairs and Chief Executives network will be taking place on Tuesday 1 April between 10:00 - 15:30 at 44 Hallam Street in London. Please note this event will not be held on Thursday 13 March as previously advertised.
An exciting and topical agenda for this event has been confirmed. The meeting will include:
- We will present a strategic policy update exploring the current political landscape and analysing what developments may mean for the provider sector. This will be followed by an interactive Q&A.
- Daniel Elkeles, incoming chief executive at NHS Providers, will be joining us to formally greet the network.
- We'll be joined by Tom Riordan, second permanent secretary at the Department of Health and Social Care, who will share reflections on his work with the sector including progressing the three shifts and insights into developing the 10 Year Health Plan.
- Karin Smyth MP, minister of state for health (secondary care), will share reflections on how the government is working with the sector, and there will be a chance to engage directly and ask questions.
- A session with Sir Jim Mackey, transition chief executive at NHS England, providing an opportunity to discuss the impact of NHS England's abolition and hear from Jim on his priorities.
- Three panellists will explore integration at place, including their reflections on different models and how to achieve sustainable integration going forward.

- Professor Sir Terence Stephenson, newly appointed Chair, NHS Providers

- All chairs and chief executives of NHS trusts and foundation trusts.
- Interim, acting and assistant chairs and chief executives are also welcome to attend.
