The thing we’re most proud of at NHS Providers is our team. We are immensely fortunate to have an energetic, passionate, supportive, informed, fun and inspiring group of colleagues. Find out what some of them enjoy about their role and the organisation, and read about the team you could be joining.
I really enjoy my role in workforce policy because the work is high-impact, I feel invested in, and my colleagues are wonderful. The workforce portfolio has allowed me to deep-dive into my interests, retaining previous stakeholder relationships whilst developing lots of new ones, and seeing my work in national publications. It’s exciting to be part of an organisation which is growing in both numbers and impact, and great that the leadership team have spent time thinking about staff development and progression as this happens. The people here are lovely too which is the icing on the cake!
Working at NHS Providers is brilliant. It’s fast paced and interesting, and no two days are ever the same, particularly in the media team. It’s great being in an organisation that leads the news agenda so frequently. We have a superb and highly talented team and I’m constantly learning something new.
Working within our fantastic analysis team, I love looking at a wide range of data that feeds into diverse and exciting work pieces across the organisation. It’s an exciting role that also gives me the opportunity to work with many policy colleagues, helping shape up the crucial work they do with robust evidence, and learning new things along the way! It is also a great pleasure to work other directorates, particularly the comms team – I love seeing the work we do being shared and used by our members and the public.
I joined NHS Providers' D&E team in early 2021 and since then each day has been inspiring, motivating and challenging, which has helped me develop professionally in different areas. I'm part of an amazing team where I've had the opportunity to work with some influential people in developing a programme of network events that make an impact. One of the best parts of my job is to be able to work with people from all levels to drive change. NHS Providers truly embraces its diverse workforce, providing a flexible and supportive environment for people - it's inspiring to work for a forward-looking growing organisation.
