National NHS guidance


This section provides a summary of NHS specific national guidance which is particularly relevant for trusts.  While we will endeavour to keep this page updated to collate helpful guidance in one place, please do also refer to the national coronavirus (COVID-19) website for the latest updates.

Simon Stevens and Amanda Pritchard wrote a letter to trust chief executives, clinical commissioning group accounting officers, GPs, primary care networks and community health providers on 17 March setting out urgent next steps in response to COVID-19, including maximising bed capacity, preparing beds for patients needing respiratory support and supporting/redeploying staff.
