The improvement team have ambitions to embed co-production and patient engagement as a fundamental part of their processes and have completed the NHS IMPACT self-assessment tool to better understand where they can improve in this area. They are working with a young person's group via Essex County Council to consider the voices of young people in their interventions, as well as general service user groups they have access to as part of the trust. However, they recognise that a standardised approach to equity needs to be developed across the organisation more widely.
