We sent this survey to leaders from all trusts. The survey was carried out online and open during September.
- 171 trust leaders from 118 trusts responded to the survey, accounting for 56% of the provider sector.
- All trust types and regions were represented in the survey.
- 31% of trust leaders were from acute trusts, 25% were from combined acute and community trusts, 16% were from combined mental health/learning disability and community trusts, 12% were from mental health/learning disability trusts, 6% were from community trusts, 6% were from acute specialist trusts, and 4% were from ambulance trusts.
- All regions were represented in the sample.
- 11 job roles were represented in the sample, with 22% being chief executives, 16% chairs, 9% strategy directors, 9% medical directors, 15% finance directors, among others.
