Subject to your feedback, these virtual roundtables will replace our long standing and successful member dinner programme, for the time being.

The objective remains the same - to offer members the opportunity for a private, informal, honest conversation with a key senior stakeholder under the Chatham House rule.

Our first, pilot, virtual round table will be with Jon Ashworth MP, shadow secretary of state for health and social care on 30 June 2020. Under its new Leader, the Labour Party has played an increasingly important role in the national debate on how the Government has handled coronarvius. NHS Providers seeks to maintain a high quality of relationship with all the main political parties. The round table will provide an opportunity to share your views of the priorities ahead and understand more about Labour's plans to develop its policy on the NHS. We know that Jon is keen to hear direct from members on what you feel you need for the next phase of tackling covid-19.

Virtual round table programme:
17:00 start time
18:00 aims to finish

The event will be hosted by Chris Hopson, chief executive, NHS Providers and attended by Jon Ashworth MP, shadow secretary of state for health and social care, as well as chairs and chief executives from member trusts.
