NED panel discussion: Learning from your peers on digital transformation
Date: 22 February 2021
Time: 13:00
Venue: Virtual event
Overview:
The Digital Boards programme is aimed at supporting boards to lead the digital agenda. There have been rapid digital advancements made in trusts across the country as a result of COVID-19. But with this comes new challenges around governance, risk and assurance whilst NEDs in particular, need to have the right questions to hand to assure themselves of digital transformation programmes.
Delegates will have an opportunity to hear from a panel of NEDs with experience of transformation programmes outside of the NHS. The panel will share their experience, reflect on the parallels between the NHS and other sectors, and share learnings that can be applied to the NHS.
Confirmed speakers:
Lynne Mellor, NED at York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and former Director of Strategy at BT
Sumit Biswas, NED at South Central Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust and Director as Zascar Consulting
This event will be chaired by Chris Fleming, Partner at Public Digital
