Member spotlight: The impact of digital transformation on patients, staff and quality of care
Date: 03 March 2022
Venue: Virtual Event via Zoom
This is the third in a series of Member Spotlight events designed to enable board members to learn from the digital maturity journey of other trusts. This virtual event will give members the opportunity to hear about the art of the possible, the pitfalls to avoid, and practical tips for boards.
This event will showcase the digital transformation journey of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation. Since launching their eHospital programme in 2014, the trust has revolutionised the way in which clinical teams care for patients, allowing staff to use the latest technology to deliver services. This strong digital foundation meant the trust was well equipped to adapt during the pandemic, and subsequently use digital ways of working to help tackle care backlogs.
This event will take place on Thursday 3 March, from 15:00 until 16:30pm.
- Dr Sue Broster, interim director of improvement and transformation, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
- Dr Afzal Chaudhry, chief medical information officer, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
