Overview

Make your meetings count with clear, accurate minutes

In the demanding NHS environment, the role of meeting administrators and minute takers directly influences meeting success and productivity.

This engaging one-day training provides practical techniques and confidence-building strategies for anyone new to the NHS or those who administer and minute meetings below board and board committee level.

Key takeaways
  1. Master the complete meeting cycle: preparation, logistics management, and efficient minute-taking.
  2. Learn simple, clear methods for documenting accurate minutes and action points.
  3. Gain practical insights into creating agendas and meeting materials that align with NHS standards.
  4. Connect with colleagues to share experiences, insights, and solutions to common meeting challenges.

Why this matters

Well-administered meetings lead to better decision-making and improved outcomes for NHS teams. Accurate minutes reduce misunderstandings, ensure clear accountability, and streamline follow-up actions. This training helps you build confidence and sharpen essential skills that directly enhance your effectiveness in supporting the NHS mission.

Really informative day thank you, after all the years of taking minutes and teaching myself, I wish I had been given this opportunity sooner.
