With the financial reset, NHS boards are under growing pressure to maximise productivity and improve outcomes. One area of increasing strategic focus is data - specifically how boards can gain assurance on it and support their organisations to enable data to meet their strategic goals. National leadership has highlighted that trusts will need to adhere to the Federated Data Platform (FDP) First Policy, meaning data has become a mission critical focus for trusts.
