NHS Providers formal response to Code consultation
A draft Code of governance for NHS providers was issued by NHS England (NHSE) on 27 May 2022 and was out for consultation until 8 July 2022. The new code will replace the NHS Foundation trust code of governance which was last updated in 2014. For the first time, the code will apply to all trusts. We consulted with members and submitted this formal response.
