Governance Survey 2022 report

This report details the results of our 2022 governance survey, and where applicable compares the results to previous years. The survey was sent to company secretaries and others responsible for corporate governance in NHS trusts and foundation trusts in September and October 2022.

It sought to explore respondents’ views in relation to boards, and the operation of board assurance committees, and how the introduction of the statutory integrated care boards (ICBs) may have impacted trust boards.
