Workforce
Today, NHS England and NHS Improvement published the annual NHS staff survey results. The survey ran from September to December 2021, amid winter demand and an upswing in COVID-19 cases due to the new Omicron variant. The survey was aligned to the overarching categories of the NHS People Promise for the first time, in order to provide a metric for progress against each area.
