- There were 787,840 incidents in July 2025, up by 4.6% since last year.
- In July, there were 79,650 Category 1 incidents (life-threatening injuries and illnesses), representing a 1% decrease compared to the same period last year.
- Category 2 incidents totalled 393,470, marking a 1% increase compared to last year.
- The response time across England for category 1 incidents was 7 minutes and 56 seconds, 19 seconds faster than last year, but missing the standard of 7 minutes.
- For category 2 incidents, the average response time was 28 minutes and 40 seconds, meeting the 30-minute recovery target for the fifth month in a row and 4m 45s faster than a year ago.
- There were a total of 427,570 ambulance handovers in July 2025. The mean handover time was 25 minutes 39 seconds, the fastest time recorded since the series started in October 2023.
