NHS Providers, NHS Confederation and the Community Network have written to Matt Hancock, secretary of state for health and social care, and Robert Jenrick, secretary of state for housing, communities and local government, regarding the issue of local authority funding and the tendering of NHS community health contracts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have also included our concerns over the lack of a long-term solution to the funding of Agenda for Change pay rises for NHS community services commissioned by local authorities.
