The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has reported on progress in implementing recommendations from its Out of sight – who cares? report and the main areas where further work is still needed. The report builds on the progress report CQC published in December, which focused on actions the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I), and CQC have made over the last year in response to the Out of Sight report recommendations.
