The role of the Freedom to Speak Up Guardian

All trusts have been required to appoint Freedom to Speak Up Guardians. It is a role which governors should be aware of as part of their “holding to account” duty. The National Guardian’s Office has contributed a short article which explains the role and also the work of the Guardian Office.
