NHS Providers responds to news that Richard Meddings will stand down as chair of NHS England

Responding to news that Richard Meddings will stand down as chair of NHS England, the chair of NHS Providers, Sir Ron Kerr, said:
“NHS Providers would like to thank Richard Meddings for his leadership of NHS England.
“Over the past three years, he has not only steered the NHS through countless challenges, and helped identify opportunities to improve the health service, but has also listened to patients, the public and frontline staff to inform his perspectives.
“Trust leaders are committed to working with Richard’s successor to help deliver the next generation NHS.”
