‘Get jabbed’ against flu, urge NHS trusts

Responding to the announcement that the NHS is kicking off its autumn vaccine roll out from Monday 1 September to protect people ahead of winter, the chief executive of NHS Providers, Daniel Elkeles said:  

“Winter bugs including flu wreaked havoc on the NHS last year with wards full to the brim with poorly patients. We would urge anyone eligible for a flu vaccination to get jabbed to protect themselves and other vulnerable people.”
