It’s important that people know the NHS is there for them

Responding to the latest ‘Help Us Help You’ advert, the director of policy and strategy at NHS Providers, Miriam Deakin, said:

“It’s really important people who are concerned about potential cancer symptoms know the NHS is there for them, and that it’s safe and sensible to go for appointments, check ups and to seek advice, without delay.

“This is equally true for people with other conditions including mental health issues. We’re seeing growing evidence of the damaging and wide-ranging impact of the pandemic on people’s mental health.

“That’s why we wholeheartedly support the NHS’ Help Us Help You campaign.”
