Effective report writing
Date 27 July 2017
Venue Central London
Effective reports ensure that committees and the board enter into informed discussions on key issues with clarity on the root causes of problems and a shared understanding of the pros and cons of the various options being put forward as potential solutions. This enables the board to make the most effective use of time which is essential given the unprecedented challenges facing providers today. However, to quote Blaise Pascal, the 17th century French mathematician and scientist, what we frequently see are long rambling papers because busy executives lack the time to prepare succinct papers.
To help support all those faced with preparing committee and board papers this new one day workshop, which is a mix of presentations on good practice, some hands on practical exercises in report writing and principles of effective communication, aims to help executive directors, associate directors and those who write board and committee papers to improve the quality of their reports and ultimate discussions and decision making. This workshop costs £225 (ex VAT) per delegate.
