This one day specialist course will help governors work confidently and effectively with their directors in posing effective questions to hold the board to account. Using a range of interactive learning methods, we will look at listening skills, questioning styles, and how to frame effective questions, specifically within the context of the governor role.
What will governors gain?
- a development of their communication skills to be more effective and confident in their role
- practical hints and tips to help them communicate with their trust
- the opportunity to self-reflect on their style of listening and questioning and consider how they might want to change it.
