NHS Providers is the membership organisation and trade association for the NHS hospital, mental health, community and ambulance services that treat patients and service users in the NHS. We help those NHS trusts and foundation trusts to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care by enabling them to learn from each other, acting as their public voice and helping shape the system in which they operate. NHS Providers has all trusts in voluntary membership, collectively accounting for £92bn of annual expenditure and employing more than one million staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to work closely with the Senior Programme Officer in taking responsibility for the efficient administration and delivery of the Digital Boards programme. The programme aims to increase NHS trust board leaders’ understanding of the changes being brought about by digital in health and care, and to increase the confidence and capability of boards to harness the opportunities digital provides. It seeks to share good practice and peer learning on digital transformation through a comprehensive set of resources, events and board development sessions.

The postholder will be a good communicator with the ability to liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally. They must be able to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a team, along with being insightful and organised with a keen eye for detail.
