NHS Providers and NHS Confederation are seeking a policy and network manager to oversee the development of their community network for trusts and community interest companies that provide NHS community services. This is a joint appointment by two influential organisations, which will provide the successful candidate with an exciting opportunity to influence the national agenda on community services and deliver the policy work programme for the new network. The post holder will drive policy and influencing work on key priority issues for providers of community services, delivering three network events during the year, and will also work to deliver other key projects of strategic importance to both NHS Providers and NHS Confederation.
Applicants must have project management skills and experience of policy development, managing complex stakeholder relationships and of event management as well as an understanding of challenges facing public sector organisations in the current financial climate. Experience of policy development in the healthcare sector will be an advantage.
