CLOSED: Roundtable on social care funding and managing NHS winter pressures
Date 23 May 2017
Venue Central London, location TBC
As you know, the government has granted an extra £1 billion funding for social care for 2017/18 and it has been stated that this funding could, if spent in a way that benefits the NHS, free up to 3,000 beds and assist the provider sector to manage winter pressures in 2017.
We are undertaking some work to explore the extent to which this additional funding for social care is benefitting the NHS and are pleased to invite member representatives to attend a small roundtable to explore this in more detail.
We are now taking expressions of interest from member medical directors, finance directors, directors of operations and chief executives.
There may be high demand for this event and places are limited, and we are keen to ensure we have good representation of members across our acute, mental health, community and ambulance members. Therefore please click on the book now button to register your interest by the 5th of May. Please note this does not confirm your place, and will get back to you confirming your place at least one week before the event.
Please also note that we will only accept one delegate per trust.
If you have any queries, please get in touch.
